Kena Upanishad 11 — Verse 11

अथ इन्द्रम् अब्रुवन्—मघवन्, एतद्विजानीहि किमेतद् यक्षम् इति। तथा इति। तदभ्यद्रवत्। तस्मात् तिरोदधे॥११॥

IAST Transliteration

atha indram abruvan—maghavan, etad vijānīhi kim etad yakṣam iti | tathā iti | tad abhyadravat | tasmāt tirodadhe ||11||

Translation

तब उन्होंने इन्द्र से कहा—“हे मघवन्, जानो कि यह यक्ष क्या है।” उसने कहा—“ऐसा ही हो।” और वह उसकी ओर दौड़ा; पर वह उससे ओझल हो गया।॥११॥

Academic Translation

Then they said to Indra: ‘O Maghavan, ascertain what this Yakṣa is.’ ‘So be it,’ (he said). He ran toward it; from him it disappeared.
