vyāsa uvāca | atyāścaryyamayīṃ brahmankathāmetāṃ tapodhana | uktavānasi yenaitatsāścaryyaṃ mama mānasam

व्यासजी बोले—हे ब्रह्मन्, हे तपोधन! आपने यह अत्यन्त आश्चर्यमयी कथा कही है, जिससे मेरा मन विस्मय से भर गया है।
