ततः शेषात्मतां यातं लक्ष्मणं सत्यसंगरम् । उवाच मधुरं शक्रः सुराणां तत्र पश्यताम्
tataḥ śeṣātmatāṃ yātaṃ lakṣmaṇaṃ satyasaṃgaram | uvāca madhuraṃ śakraḥ surāṇāṃ tatra paśyatām
तब सत्य में दृढ़, शेष-स्वरूप को प्राप्त लक्ष्मण को देखकर, देवताओं के देखते-देखते शक्र (इन्द्र) ने वहाँ मधुर वचन कहा।
