यस्तं पूजयते भक्त्या पश्येद्वा भावितात्मवान् । नाशयेत्तस्य पापानि सप्तजन्मार्जितान्यपि
yastaṃ pūjayate bhaktyā paśyedvā bhāvitātmavān | nāśayettasya pāpāni saptajanmārjitānyapi
जो उसे भक्तिपूर्वक पूजता है, या शुद्ध-भाव से उसे देखता है—उसके सात जन्मों में संचित पाप भी (भगवान) नष्ट कर देते हैं।
