सूत उवाच । एवं मुनीन्द्राः कथिते प्रभावे शंकरेण तु । पुनः पप्रच्छ सा देवी कृतांजलिपुटा सती
sūta uvāca | evaṃ munīndrāḥ kathite prabhāve śaṃkareṇa tu | punaḥ papraccha sā devī kṛtāṃjalipuṭā satī
सूत बोले—हे मुनीन्द्रों, शंकर ने जब इस प्रकार प्रभाव का वर्णन किया, तब सती देवी ने हाथ जोड़कर फिर उनसे प्रश्न किया।
