शंखावर्त्तमितिख्यातं यत्र चित्रांकिता शिला । स्वयंभूता महादेवि रक्तगर्भा सुशोभना
śaṃkhāvarttamitikhyātaṃ yatra citrāṃkitā śilā | svayaṃbhūtā mahādevi raktagarbhā suśobhanā
हे महादेवी! वह स्थान ‘शंखावर्त’ नाम से प्रसिद्ध है, जहाँ विचित्र चिह्नों से अंकित शिला है। वह स्वयंभू, सुशोभित, भीतर से रक्तवर्ण गर्भ वाली दिखाई देती है।
