सावित्रीसहिताः सर्वाः सख्यः संप्रेषितास्तदा । ततो विसृज्य तां देवी नदी भूत्वा सरस्वती
sāvitrīsahitāḥ sarvāḥ sakhyaḥ saṃpreṣitāstadā | tato visṛjya tāṃ devī nadī bhūtvā sarasvatī
तब सावित्री सहित उसकी सभी सखियाँ विदा कर दी गईं। इसके बाद देवी ने उसे विसर्जित करके नदीरूप धारण किया और सरस्वती बन गई।
