उद्भिज्जाः स्थावराः प्रोक्तास्तृणगुल्मलता दयः । अन्येऽप्येवं यथायोगमंतर्भूताः सहस्रशः
udbhijjāḥ sthāvarāḥ proktāstṛṇagulmalatā dayaḥ | anye'pyevaṃ yathāyogamaṃtarbhūtāḥ sahasraśaḥ
उद्भिज्ज वे स्थावर कहे गए हैं—तृण, झाड़ियाँ, लताएँ आदि। इसी प्रकार अपने-अपने स्थान के अनुसार और भी हजारों रूप सम्मिलित हैं।
