|devyuvāca | bhagavanprāṇinaḥ sarve sarvopadravasaṃkulāḥ | alpāyuṣaḥ sadā baddhā vyāmohairmaṃdirodbhavaiḥ
Pārvatī (Devī)
Listener: Śiva (Bhagavān)
Scene: Pārvatī speaks with concern: a tableau of ordinary householders—aging, ill, burdened—surrounded by symbolic nets of attachment; above, the divine couple listens compassionately.
It acknowledges human frailty—short life and worldly entanglement—setting the stage for compassionate, accessible spiritual means.
No single site is named in this verse; it introduces the problem that leads to recommending an especially effective tīrtha.
None in this verse; it is a lament/request that prompts guidance.
