यात्रायामथवान्यत्र पर्वकाले शशिग्रहे । अत्र स्नास्यति यः सम्यक्सागरे लवणांभसि । अश्वमेधसहस्रस्य फलं प्राप्स्यति मानवः
yātrāyāmathavānyatra parvakāle śaśigrahe | atra snāsyati yaḥ samyaksāgare lavaṇāṃbhasi | aśvamedhasahasrasya phalaṃ prāpsyati mānavaḥ
यात्रा के समय हो या अन्य अवसर पर, पर्व-तिथि में या चन्द्रग्रहण में—जो कोई यहाँ समुद्र के लवण जल में विधिपूर्वक स्नान करता है, वह मनुष्य सहस्र अश्वमेध यज्ञों के समान पुण्य प्राप्त करता है।
