ऊचुर्गत्वा तु लोकेशं देवदेवं पितामहम् । अस्मत्कृते द्विजैः शप्तः सागरो ब्राह्मणोत्तमैः
ūcurgatvā tu lokeśaṃ devadevaṃ pitāmaham | asmatkṛte dvijaiḥ śaptaḥ sāgaro brāhmaṇottamaiḥ
तब वे लोकनाथ, देवों के देव पितामह के पास जाकर बोले— “हमारे कारण श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मण द्विजों ने समुद्र को शाप दिया है।”
