चलिताः पर्वताः स्थानात्क्षुभितो मकरालयः । धरणी खण्डशो देव वृक्षाश्च निधनं गताः
calitāḥ parvatāḥ sthānātkṣubhito makarālayaḥ | dharaṇī khaṇḍaśo deva vṛkṣāśca nidhanaṃ gatāḥ
पर्वत अपने स्थान से हिल गए, मकरों का आलय समुद्र क्षुब्ध हो उठा। हे देव! पृथ्वी खण्ड-खण्ड हो गई और वृक्ष नष्ट हो गए।
