Transliteration

teṣāṃ kilāsthinicayaiḥ sthalarūpaṃ babhūva tat | bhasmapuṃjanibhākāraṃ tenābhūdyādava sthalam

Translation

कहते हैं, उनके अस्थि-समूहों से वह भूमि एक विशेष रूप धारण कर गई। भस्म-ढेर के समान आकार होने से वह ‘यादव-स्थल’ कहलाया।
