द्वादश्यां रविवारेण श्रीवृक्षमर्चयन्ति ये । ब्रह्महत्यादिकैः पापैर्न लिप्यंते कृतैरपि
dvādaśyāṃ ravivāreṇa śrīvṛkṣamarcayanti ye | brahmahatyādikaiḥ pāpairna lipyaṃte kṛtairapi
जो लोग द्वादशी को, जब वह रविवार को पड़े, श्रीवृक्ष (तुलसी) की अर्चना करते हैं, वे ब्रह्महत्या आदि पापों से भी—किए हुए हों तब भी—लिप्त नहीं होते।
