सूत उवाच । इति पृष्टस्तदा तैस्तु महाभागवतोऽसुरः । कथयामास विप्रेभ्यो भगवद्भक्तिसंयुतः
sūta uvāca | iti pṛṣṭastadā taistu mahābhāgavato'suraḥ | kathayāmāsa viprebhyo bhagavadbhaktisaṃyutaḥ
सूतजी बोले—इस प्रकार उनसे पूछे जाने पर वह असुर, जो महाभागवत था और भगवान् की भक्ति से युक्त था, ब्राह्मणों से कहने लगा।
