पुरा देवेन कथितं शृणु पात्रं वदाम्यहम् । प्रिया भागवता येषां तेषां दासोऽस्म्यहं सदा
purā devena kathitaṃ śṛṇu pātraṃ vadāmyaham | priyā bhāgavatā yeṣāṃ teṣāṃ dāso'smyahaṃ sadā
जो बात पहले भगवान ने कही थी, उसे सुनो; मैं बताता हूँ कि सच्चा पात्र कौन है। जिनके लिए भागवत-भक्त प्रिय हैं, मैं सदा उन्हीं का दास हूँ।
