Transliteration

tasyāṃ hi gomatīsnānaṃ dviṣaṅgodāvarīphalam | avagāhitā prayatnena siṃhāṃte gautamī sakṛt

Translation

उस अवसर पर गोमती में स्नान करने से गोदावरी के पुण्य का दुगुना फल मिलता है। जो प्रयत्नपूर्वक सिंह-राशि के अंत में गौतमी में एक बार भी स्नान करता है, वह वही फल प्राप्त करता है।
