āha cedaṃ jagannāthaṃ yadi mayyastyanugrahaḥ | tadā pureva saṃyogo deva devyā vidhīyatām
Durvāsā (within Prahlāda’s narration)
Tirtha: Dvārakā
Type: kshetra
Scene: Durvāsā addresses Jagannātha directly, pleading that the former union of the divine couple be re-established; the scene carries a sense of cosmic repair, as if the world’s balance depends on their harmony.
Grace culminates in restoration of harmony—devotion seeks not power, but the re-establishment of divine order and unity.
Dvārakā is the contextual holy geography where Jagannātha’s presence and divine resolution are celebrated.
No explicit rite; it is a prayer (yācñā) for anugraha and reconciliation.
