मुशली प्रभुरेतेषां संनद्धो वर्तते द्विजाः । रक्षन्ति नैरृतीमाशां पश्चिमां शृणुतापरान्
muśalī prabhureteṣāṃ saṃnaddho vartate dvijāḥ | rakṣanti nairṛtīmāśāṃ paścimāṃ śṛṇutāparān
हे द्विजो, इन (परिचरों) का कवचधारी स्वामी मुशली है। ये नैऋति (दक्षिण-पश्चिम) दिशा की रक्षा करते हैं; अब पश्चिम दिशा वालों को भी सुनो।
