Śrī Kṛṣṇa
Tirtha: Dvārakā
Type: kshetra
Listener: (Likely) sages/assembly within the māhātmya narration
Scene: A devotee family at Dvārakā: elders offering tarpaṇa at the sea/ghāṭ, sons and grandsons beside them; in the sky, liberated pitṛs ascend toward a radiant Vaikuṇṭha-like Hari-pura above the Dvārakā skyline and temple spires.
Tīrtha-based dharma uplifts both the practitioner and the lineage—granting prosperity in life and liberation beyond.
The Dvārakā tīrtha of this chapter—Mayasya-saras/Mayatīrtha—whose snāna and rites yield these results.
Implied continuation of the chapter’s program: snāna, Pitṛ-tarpaṇa/śrāddha, and associated dāna leading to lineage-mokṣa and Hari’s abode.
