śṛṇu rājanyathāvṛttamitihāsa purātanam | ṛṣibhirbahudhā gītamarbude parvatottame
हे राजन्! जैसा घटित हुआ वैसा ही यह प्राचीन इतिहास सुनो, जो पर्वतोत्तम अर्बुद पर ऋषियों द्वारा अनेक प्रकार से गाया गया है।
