ययातिरुवाच । किमर्थं भगवन्वह्निः पुरा नष्टो द्विजोत्तम । कथं तत्रैव लब्धस्तु कौतुकं मे महामुने
yayātiruvāca | kimarthaṃ bhagavanvahniḥ purā naṣṭo dvijottama | kathaṃ tatraiva labdhastu kautukaṃ me mahāmune
ययाति ने कहा: हे भगवन्! हे द्विजश्रेष्ठ! प्राचीन काल में अग्निदेव किस कारण से लुप्त हुए थे? और वे वहीं पुनः कैसे प्राप्त हुए? हे महामुने, मुझे यह जानने का बड़ा कौतुक है।
