वेपमाना भयोद्विग्ना शोकसागरमध्यगा । करिणीव हि रौद्रेण हरिणा सा बलीयसा । ततः स्वगोकुलं प्राप्ता रभमाणा मुहुर्मुहुः
vepamānā bhayodvignā śokasāgaramadhyagā | kariṇīva hi raudreṇa hariṇā sā balīyasā | tataḥ svagokulaṃ prāptā rabhamāṇā muhurmuhuḥ
वह काँपती हुई, भय से व्याकुल, मानो शोक-सागर के बीच डूबी—जैसे प्रबल और क्रूर सिंह से पीड़ित हथिनी—फिर अपने गोकुल पहुँची और बार-बार रंभाने लगी।
