पुलस्त्य उवाच । ततो गच्छेन्नृपश्रेष्ठ सुपुण्यं मानुषं ह्रदम् । यत्र स्नातो नरः सम्यङ्मनुष्यो जायते सदा
pulastya uvāca | tato gacchennṛpaśreṣṭha supuṇyaṃ mānuṣaṃ hradam | yatra snāto naraḥ samyaṅmanuṣyo jāyate sadā
पुलस्त्य बोले—हे नृपश्रेष्ठ! तत्पश्चात् ‘मानुष’ नामक परम पुण्यदायक ह्रद में जाना चाहिए; जहाँ विधिपूर्वक स्नान करने वाला सदा मनुष्य-योनि में जन्म पाता है।
