सौदास उवाच । आराधिता द्विजा विप्र भवंति सुगतिप्रदाः । असन्तुष्टा दुर्गतिदाः सद्यो मम यथा पुरा
saudāsa uvāca | ārādhitā dvijā vipra bhavaṃti sugatipradāḥ | asantuṣṭā durgatidāḥ sadyo mama yathā purā
सौदास ने कहा— “हे विप्र, जब द्विजों की आराधना की जाती है, वे सुगति प्रदान करते हैं; और जब वे असंतुष्ट हों, तो दुर्गति देते हैं—जैसा मेरे साथ पहले तत्काल हुआ था।”
