अंबरीष उवाच । मुक्तिं दातुमशक्तोसि त्वं च वृत्रनिषूदन । तव प्रसादाद्देवेश त्रैलोक्यं मम वर्त्तते । स्वागतं गच्छ देवेश न वरो रोचते मम
aṃbarīṣa uvāca | muktiṃ dātumaśaktosi tvaṃ ca vṛtraniṣūdana | tava prasādāddeveśa trailokyaṃ mama varttate | svāgataṃ gaccha deveśa na varo rocate mama
अंबरीष बोले—हे वृत्र-वधकर्ता, तुम मोक्ष देने में समर्थ नहीं हो। हे देवेश, तुम्हारी कृपा से ही तीनों लोक मेरे अधीन हैं। देवेश, स्वागत है; शांति से जाओ—मुझे कोई वर रुचिकर नहीं।
