नियतो नियताहारः सर्वभूतहिते रतः । वर्षास्वाकाशवासी च हेमंते सलिलाशयः
niyato niyatāhāraḥ sarvabhūtahite rataḥ | varṣāsvākāśavāsī ca hemaṃte salilāśayaḥ
वे संयमी थे और अल्पाहारी; समस्त प्राणियों के हित में रत रहते थे। वर्षा ऋतु में वे खुले आकाश के नीचे रहते और हेमन्त में जल में निवास करते थे।
