ऋषय ऊचुः । ब्रह्महत्या कथं जाता देवेन्द्रस्य महात्मनः । कस्मिन्काले च सर्वं नो विस्तरात्सूत कीर्तय

ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | brahmahatyā kathaṃ jātā devendrasya mahātmanaḥ | kasminkāle ca sarvaṃ no vistarātsūta kīrtaya

ऋषियों ने कहा—हे सूत! महात्मा देवेन्द्र को ब्रह्महत्या का पाप कैसे लगा? और वह किस समय हुआ? यह सब हमें विस्तार से कहिए।
