एवमुक्त्वा द्रुतं गत्वा विश्वामित्रो धरातलम् । चकार याजने यत्नं त्रिशंकोः सुमहात्मनः
evamuktvā drutaṃ gatvā viśvāmitro dharātalam | cakāra yājane yatnaṃ triśaṃkoḥ sumahātmanaḥ
ऐसा कहकर विश्वामित्र शीघ्र ही पृथ्वी पर गए और महात्मा त्रिशंकु के यज्ञ-आयोजन में उन्होंने बड़ा प्रयत्न किया।
