तेषां बलाच्च पार्वत्याः शापभारेण यन्त्रितः । तां नित्यमेवानुनयन्नृचे सोवाच शंकरम्
teṣāṃ balācca pārvatyāḥ śāpabhāreṇa yantritaḥ | tāṃ nityamevānunayannṛce sovāca śaṃkaram
उनके आग्रह से और पार्वती के शाप-भार से बँधा हुआ वह सदा उसे मनाता रहा। तब एक ऋचा द्वारा उसने शंकर से कहा।
