युध्यमानास्तवाग्रे च गयाश्राद्धेन तर्पय । तान्सर्वान्प्रेतभावाच्च येन मुक्तिं भजंति ते
yudhyamānāstavāgre ca gayāśrāddhena tarpaya | tānsarvānpretabhāvācca yena muktiṃ bhajaṃti te
जो तुम्हारे आगे युद्ध करते हुए गिरे, उन सबको गया-श्राद्ध से तृप्त करो; इससे वे प्रेतभाव से मुक्त होकर मोक्ष को प्राप्त होते हैं।
