mahāsatī mahābhāgā sāvitrī sā pativratā | pūjyā ca sarvadevānāṃ jyeṣṭhā śreṣṭhā ca sadgaṇaiḥ

वह सावित्री महासती, महाभागा और पतिव्रता है; वह समस्त देवताओं के लिए पूज्या है और सत्सभाओं में ज्येष्ठ तथा श्रेष्ठ मानी जाती है।
