अथ ता ब्राह्मणेंद्राणां भार्याः सर्वाः द्विजोत्तमाः । दमयंत्याः समासाद्य प्रासादं स्नेहवत्सलाः
atha tā brāhmaṇeṃdrāṇāṃ bhāryāḥ sarvāḥ dvijottamāḥ | damayaṃtyāḥ samāsādya prāsādaṃ snehavatsalāḥ
तब उन ब्राह्मण-श्रेष्ठों की पत्नियाँ—सभी सद्गुणी द्विज-वर स्त्रियाँ—स्नेह से परिपूर्ण होकर दमयन्ती के प्रासाद में पहुँचीं।
