प्रतिज्ञातमनिष्पाद्य मित्रस्याभ्यागतस्य च । कथंकारं न लज्जंते हताशा जीवितेप्सवः
pratijñātamaniṣpādya mitrasyābhyāgatasya ca | kathaṃkāraṃ na lajjaṃte hatāśā jīvitepsavaḥ
जो सहायता माँगने आए मित्र से की हुई प्रतिज्ञा पूरी न कर सके—वह जीवन की चाह रखते हुए भी निराश होकर लज्जित क्यों नहीं होता?
