निष्पन्नं नास्य तत्कार्यं प्राणानेष मुमुक्षति । वह्निप्रवेशेन परं वैराग्यं समुपागतः
niṣpannaṃ nāsya tatkāryaṃ prāṇāneṣa mumukṣati | vahnipraveśena paraṃ vairāgyaṃ samupāgataḥ
उसका वह कार्य सिद्ध नहीं हुआ; अब वह प्राण त्यागना चाहता है। अग्नि-प्रवेश द्वारा वह परम वैराग्य को प्राप्त हो गया है।
