namasye cetanaṃ brahmā pratyakṣaṃ gālavākhyayā | avidyākṛṣṇasarpeṇa daṣṭaṃ tadviṣapīḍitam

Translation

मैं चेतन परब्रह्म को नमस्कार करता हूँ, जो गालव नाम से मेरे सामने प्रत्यक्ष हैं। अज्ञानरूपी काले सर्प ने मुझे डँस लिया है; उसके विष से मैं पीड़ित हूँ।
