तदीयपूर्तधर्मस्य चिह्नेन न यदंकितम् । कन्यादानानि बहुधा ब्राह्मेण विधिना व्यधात्
tadīyapūrtadharmasya cihnena na yadaṃkitam | kanyādānāni bahudhā brāhmeṇa vidhinā vyadhāt
उसके पूर्त-धर्म (लोकहित कार्यों) के चिह्नों से अचिह्नित कोई स्थान न था। उसने ब्राह्म-विधि के अनुसार अनेक प्रकार से कन्यादान किए।
