वृक्षेणाहत्य मद्रेशो नदीं शुष्कां प्रसारितः । राजराजस्तथा येन जरासंधो निपातितः
vṛkṣeṇāhatya madreśo nadīṃ śuṣkāṃ prasāritaḥ | rājarājastathā yena jarāsaṃdho nipātitaḥ
वृक्ष से प्रहार कर मद्रदेश के नरेश को गिराया गया; सूखी नदी को भी प्रवाहित कर दिया गया; और वैसे ही राजराज जरासंध को भी उसी ने धराशायी किया।
