pādaprakṣālanaṃ kṛtvā tato'haṃ dharmavarmaṇaḥ | samīpe sākṣiṇo devānkṛtvā saṃkalpamācaram

पाद-प्रक्षालन करके, फिर मैं धर्मवर्मा के समीप गया। देवताओं को साक्षी बनाकर मैंने संकल्प का आचरण किया।
