परीक्षन्ब्राह्मणानत्र प्राप्तो यूयं परीक्षिताः । अहं वः स्थायिष्यामि चानुजानीत तद्द्विजाः
parīkṣanbrāhmaṇānatra prāpto yūyaṃ parīkṣitāḥ | ahaṃ vaḥ sthāyiṣyāmi cānujānīta taddvijāḥ
ब्राह्मणों की परीक्षा लेने हेतु तुम यहाँ आए थे; अब तुम स्वयं परखे गए हो। मैं तुम्हारे हित के लिए यहीं ठहरूँगा—अतः, हे द्विजो, मुझे अनुमति दो।
