नारद उवाच । अथान्यत्संप्रवक्ष्यामि शालामाहात्म्य मुत्तमम् । संस्थापिते पुरा स्थाने प्रोक्तोहं द्विजपुंगवैः
nārada uvāca | athānyatsaṃpravakṣyāmi śālāmāhātmya muttamam | saṃsthāpite purā sthāne proktohaṃ dvijapuṃgavaiḥ
नारद बोले—अब मैं एक और उत्तम आख्यान कहूँगा—शाला का माहात्म्य। प्राचीन काल में प्रतिष्ठित उस पवित्र स्थान पर श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मणों ने मुझे इसका उपदेश दिया था।
