संप्रविश्यान्नमध्ये तु पृथगन्नपृथग्जलम् । अग्नेरूर्ध्वं जलं स्थाप्य तदन्नं तज्जलोपरि
saṃpraviśyānnamadhye tu pṛthagannapṛthagjalam | agnerūrdhvaṃ jalaṃ sthāpya tadannaṃ tajjalopari
अन्न के भीतर प्रवेश करके वह अन्न को जल से अलग करता है। पाचक अग्नि के ऊपर जल को रखकर, उस जल के ऊपर अन्न को स्थापित करता है।
