अहो मोहस्य माहात्म्यं पश्यताविजितात्मनाम् । पठंति मातृकां पापा मन्यंते न सुरानिह
aho mohasya māhātmyaṃ paśyatāvijitātmanām | paṭhaṃti mātṛkāṃ pāpā manyaṃte na surāniha
अहो! आत्मसंयम से रहित जनों में मोह का कैसा प्रभाव है—पापी ‘मातृका’ का पाठ करते हैं, फिर भी यहाँ देवताओं को मानते ही नहीं।
