tato me ciṃtayānasya punarjātāmatistviyam | adyāpi na gataścāhaṃ kalāpagrāmamuttamam
तब चिंतन करते हुए मेरे मन में यह विचार फिर उत्पन्न हुआ—‘अभी तक मैं कलाप नामक उत्तम ग्राम में नहीं गया हूँ।’
Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa), contextual attribution within Māheśvarakhaṇḍa narration
Tirtha: Kalāpa-grāma
Type: kshetra
Scene: On a Himalayan height, the seeker’s face brightens as a new resolve dawns: to go to the excellent Kalāpa village; the landscape opens like a path revealed through clouds.
When answers are not found everywhere, the tradition directs the seeker to a sanctified place where dharma and learning dwell.
Kalāpa-grāma is introduced as an ‘uttama’ (excellent) sacred settlement.
No explicit rite is given; the instruction is directional—go to Kalāpa-grāma.
