जीवः प्रविष्टो गर्भं तु कलले प्रतितिष्ठति । मूढश्च कलले तत्र मासमात्रं च तिष्ठति
jīvaḥ praviṣṭo garbhaṃ tu kalale pratitiṣṭhati | mūḍhaśca kalale tatra māsamātraṃ ca tiṣṭhati
जब जीव गर्भ में प्रवेश करता है, तब वह कलल (भ्रूण-द्रव-राशि) में स्थित होता है। वहाँ उस कलल में मोहित होकर वह लगभग एक मास तक रहता है।
