एवमेतास्तिस्रो दुर्गाः पूर्वस्यां दिशि संस्थिताः । पश्चिमायां प्रवक्ष्यामि तिस्रो दुर्गा महोत्तमा

evametāstisro durgāḥ pūrvasyāṃ diśi saṃsthitāḥ | paścimāyāṃ pravakṣyāmi tisro durgā mahottamā

इस प्रकार ये तीनों दुर्गाएँ पूर्व दिशा में स्थित हैं। अब मैं पश्चिम दिशा में स्थित तीन परम उत्तम दुर्गाओं का वर्णन करता हूँ।
