विमूढश्चाप्टयकार्याणि तानि तानि निषेवते । ततो विनश्यति क्षिप्रं नाशुचिः पूजयेत्ततः । शुचिर्वाभ्यर्चयेद्यश्च तस्य चेदशुभं भवेत्
vimūḍhaścāpṭayakāryāṇi tāni tāni niṣevate | tato vinaśyati kṣipraṃ nāśuciḥ pūjayettataḥ | śucirvābhyarcayedyaśca tasya cedaśubhaṃ bhavet
मोहित होकर वह अनेक अनुचित कर्मों में प्रवृत्त होता है; उससे वह शीघ्र नष्ट हो जाता है। इसलिए अशुचि व्यक्ति को पूजा नहीं करनी चाहिए। परन्तु जो शुचि होकर भली-भाँति अर्चना करे, यदि उसके लिए भी कुछ अशुभ हो जाए—
