bahūdake ca yaḥ snātvā saptamyāṃ māghamāsake | dadyātpiṃḍaṃ pitṝṇāṃ ca te'kṣyāṃ tṛptimāpnuyuḥ
जो माघ मास की सप्तमी को बहूदक में स्नान करके पितरों को पिण्डदान करता है, वे पितर अक्षय तृप्ति को प्राप्त होते हैं।
