Transliteration

savitā paramo devaḥ sarvasvaṃ vā dvijanmanām | vedavedāṃgagītaśca tvamapyenaṃ sadā bhaja

Translation

सविता (सूर्य) परम देव हैं—द्विजों के लिए वे ही सर्वस्व हैं। वेद और वेदाङ्गों में जिनका गान है; इसलिए तुम भी सदा उनकी उपासना करो।
