यवाः सप्त प्रदातव्या अथवा षड्घृतप्लुताः । मूर्ध्नि विन्यस्तपत्रस्य पत्रे चैवं निवेशयेत्
yavāḥ sapta pradātavyā athavā ṣaḍghṛtaplutāḥ | mūrdhni vinyastapatrasya patre caivaṃ niveśayet
सात जौ के दाने अर्पित करने चाहिए; अथवा घी से सिक्त छह दाने। जिसके मस्तक पर पत्ता रखा हो, उसी पत्ते में उन दानों को विधिपूर्वक इस प्रकार रखे।
